Travis Smith Joining EHS Radiation Safety Team

EHS is excited to welcome our new Senior Health Physicist, Travis Smith, on February 1, 2022. Travis’ primary responsibility will be radiation safety at our Grand Rapids facilities, though he will be an integral part of the radiation safety program for all MSU.

Travis is originally from Michigan, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences from the University of Michigan. He then moved on to the university of Tennessee where he earned his master's degree, and more recently the State of Nebraska where he worked in the Radiation Control office.
